Selected Achievements and Milestones:

1. Dr. Eserdağ is among the first gynecologists in Turkey to be granted the title of Fellow by both the European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM) and the European Federation of Sexology (EFS)—a distinction highlighting his academic and clinical excellence in sexual medicine.
2. He has been instrumental in the integration of female sexual dysfunction treatments into routine gynecological practice in Turkey, thereby expanding the role of gynecologists in this multidisciplinary domain.
3. In 2015, he founded Hera Vaginismus Education, Research, and Treatment Association, the first national organization in Turkey dedicated to the treatment and awareness of vaginismus.
4. Since 2002, he has focused on the treatment of vaginismus, pioneering a clinical model aimed at achieving rapid and sustainable results through short-term, intensive therapy protocols.
5. Dr. Eserdağ was the first physician in Turkey to conduct hands-on clinical training in aesthetic genital procedures, contributing significantly to the formal education and standardization of these practices.
6. In 2015, he became the first Turkish member of the European College of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery (ECAMS),based in Ireland. Between 2015 and 2017, he conducted numerous international workshops under ECAMS across several countries.
7. In 2017, he founded ISAGSS (International Society of Aesthetic Genital Surgery and Sexology)—Turkey’s first international professional society in the field. Notably, ISAGSS is the world’s first organization to combine genital aesthetic surgery with a sexology-based approach.
8. Through ISAGSS, Dr. Eserdağ has personally trained over 1,000 physicians from across five continents, promoting high standards in both surgical technique and sexual health awareness.
9. He chaired Turkey’s first international congresses on aesthetic genital surgery and sexology, the RAGSS Congresses (2018 and 2019),bringing together renowned experts and promoting Turkey as a hub for scientific exchange in this niche field.
10. He was the first physician to introduce the “O-S*hot” and “G-Shot” procedures—sexual enhancement injections—to Turkey, subsequently registering the naming rights within the country.
11. Dr. Eserdağ coined and introduced the concept of “Barbie Vagina Aesthetics” to Turkey. Following his 2015 interview in Cosmopolitan magazine, the term gained nationwide popularity and cultural relevance.
12. In 2021, he authored Turkey’s first textbook on genital aesthetics, titled Female Genital Aesthetics and Functional Surgery. The book was translated into English and published internationally within two months of its original release.
13. He served as editor of Sexual Medicine and Genital Aesthetics (2020),Turkey’s first multidisciplinary academic volume in this field, which included contributions from over 50 medical professionals.
14. His most recent academic contribution, Aesthetic and Functional Female Genital Surgery, was published by Springer Nature (Switzerland) in 2023. As the first Turkish-authored academic reference book in this domain to be included in international scientific literature, it comprises 23 chapters and over 400 clinical images, and has been highly acclaimed by leading global experts.
15. Dr. Eserdağ is a frequent speaker at national and international scientific events, delivering over 20 invited lectures annually. He has presented at more than 50 international congresses, including those organized by ESSM, IMCAS (Paris & Asia),and AMWC (Monaco).
16. He organized the first national congress on Regenerative Gynecology in Turkey, held in Antalya in February 2025, underscoring his commitment to emerging technologies and biological innovations in women’s health.
17. Clinically, he maintains active practice at his main center in Nişantaşı, Istanbul, while also consulting at satellite clinics in Suadiye (Istanbul),Ankara, and Izmir. Academically, he serves as a part-time faculty member in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Altınbaş University, contributing to medical education and residency training.
