Sexual Treatments

Vaginismus Treatments: With the treatments we provide, vaginismus is typically resolved within an average of 3 days. In more severe cases, the process may extend to 4–5 days. Although the duration varies depending on the severity, vaginismus is a sexual problem that can be treated in a short time with lasting results.

Since 2003, the total number of vaginismus patients we have treated exceeds 7,000. Patients coming from out of town or abroad should not be on their menstrual period during treatment. If the appointment coincides with menstruation, they should consult their physician or us about postponing their period with medication.

Pain During Intercourse (Dyspareunia) Treatments: Dyspareunia can have many psychological and physical causes. Treatment is successful only when directed toward the underlying cause. Therefore, an initial gynecological evaluation by an experienced specialist is essential. A definitive solution can be achieved with diagnosis-based treatment.

Treatments for Anorgasmia and Low Sexual Desire in Women: Difficulty achieving orgasm and low sexual desire are common issues in women. Treatments targeting the underlying physical or psychological causes are essential.

Problems related to physical causes may involve surgical or non-surgical interventions such as Genital Platelet-Rich Plasma (*P*R*P) laser vaginal tightening/rejuvenation, genital radiofrequency, G-spot augmentation, and vaginal tightening surgeries. For psychologically based issues, sexual therapy, hypnotherapy, acupuncture, and certain medications may be used. In some patients, medical procedures and sexual therapies are combined, significantly increasing treatment effectiveness.

Treatment of Male Sexual Problems: Premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction, and low sexual desire in men should also be treated based on the underlying cause. When psychological factors are involved, sexual therapies and medical treatments are preferred.

Vulvar Vestibulitis Syndrome Treatment: Vulvar vestibulitis syndrome causes pain during intercourse. It can be easily diagnosed during examination by an experienced gynecologist. Surgical methods are often preferred in treatment. Genital laser and PRP treatments may also be combined.

Genital Aesthetic Procedures

Labiaplasty: Labiaplasty is the surgical reduction and aesthetic reshaping of the inner labia. It is usually performed under sedation anesthesia combined with local anesthesia. It is done due to excess tissue, sagging, wrinkling, or darkening of the labia minora and provides both aesthetic and functional benefits.

Excess tissue in the labia minora may cause friction while wearing tight clothing, visible bulging in swimsuits or leggings, difficulty during urination, persistent moisture in the genital area, frequent infections, and odor.

Success in labiaplasty is directly related to the surgeon’s experience. We often recommend performing clitoral hoodoplasty together with labiaplasty. In our clinics, more than 3,000 labiaplasty procedures have been performed since 2003 by Dr. Süleyman Eserdağ, Founder and President of ISAGSS.

Clitoral Hood Aesthetics (Clitoral Hoodoplasty): This procedure removes excess or asymmetric skin folds around the clitoris and is usually performed together with labiaplasty for optimal aesthetic results. When not addressed, an undesirable protruding appearance may occur. Hoodoplasty requires surgical experience due to clitoral anatomy and does not negatively affect sexual pleasure when performed correctly.

Vaginal Tightening Surgery: Vaginal laxity may occur after childbirth, frequent curettage, aging, smoking-related collagen weakness, frequent intercourse, or gynecological interventions. Some women have congenital vaginal laxity.

Vaginal widening may negatively affect sexual satisfaction for both partners. Vaginal tightening surgery can be performed under sedation and local anesthesia. In some patients, we perform combined surgery (“quadruple operation”) including vaginal tightening, perineal repair, labiaplasty, and hoodoplasty in a single session.

Laser Vaginal Tightening (Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation – LVR): This non-surgical procedure aims to rejuvenate, tighten, and renew the vagina. It is used for vaginal laxity, inability to achieve orgasm, painful intercourse, recurrent infections, or vaginal dryness. It is preferred in women without significant prolapse and with mild to moderate laxity.

The procedure is painless, requires no anesthesia, and usually takes about 20 minutes (approximately 3 minutes with the Femilift CO₂ laser system used in our Istanbul clinic). No major complications have been reported worldwide.

Laser Genital Lightening: CO₂ laser treatment can lighten darkened areas of the external genital region. The procedure takes about 20–25 minutes under local or sedation anesthesia.

Hymen Repair (Hymenoplasty): This is the surgical restoration of the hymen after loss of anatomical integrity due to intercourse or other causes. It can be short-term or long-term and is typically performed under local anesthesia.

Vaginal Enlargement Surgery: Vaginal stenosis may be congenital or post-surgical and can cause pain or inability to have intercourse. Vaginal enlargement surgery allows for healthier sexual function.

Genital Aesthetic Revision Surgeries: Incorrect techniques in labial or clitoral procedures may cause aesthetic and functional problems. Over- or under-tightening of the vagina can lead to pain or insufficient results. Revision surgeries aim to correct these issues.

Medical Procedures and Surgeries for Sexual Pleasure and Orgasm

G-Spot Augmentation (G-Shot©) involves injecting filler material into the G-spot inside the vaginal canal.

O-Shot© involves injecting P*R*P derived from the patient’s own blood into the G-spot, clitoris, and vaginal pleasure areas. These procedures may enhance sexual pleasure, sensitivity, and orgasm and can be combined with laser vaginal tightening.

For increased sexual pleasure and permanent vaginal tightening, surgical vaginal tightening procedures may also be performed. In our experience, the best outcomes for sexual pleasure and orgasm function are achieved through combined medical and surgical approaches.

Sexually Transmitted Diseases

Genital Wart Treatment: Genital warts can be treated with electrocautery (burning) cryotherapy (freezing),topical acid applications, and carbon dioxide (CO₂) laser. Laser treatment is quick, leaves no scars, and offers a faster healing process.

Warts caused by viral infections can be successfully eliminated in both women and men with laser therapy. Typically, 1–2 sessions are sufficient. If warts recur, additional laser sessions may be required.

Vaccination and Genetic Screening Using PCR Method: We provide vaccination programs aimed at protection against infections that cause warts in the cervix, vagina, anus, penis, and genital region.

Genital Herpes Treatment: Short-term and long-term antiviral medication regimens are used to treat herpes in the genital area. Recurrence risk can also be reduced with treatments that help strengthen the immune system.
