After Labiaplasty

After Labiaplasty

The postoperative period of labiaplasty is important. Resting at home for 2-3 days, changing your dressings regularly, being careful about your diet and the hygiene of the genital area are the precautions you should take. After the operation, bleeding can be observed in the form of slight leakage for a few days, itching can be felt in the evening, and edema can last for a few weeks. Complaints will decrease over time.

Your questions about the postoperative period of labiaplasty:

When Will My Surgical Site Heal After Labiaplasty?

It is important to rest at home for 3 days after labioplasty. Edema will probably resolve within a few weeks, the sutures will fall off spontaneously within 20 days, and you will be able to return to all your previous activities after a month.

What Will the Postoperative Care Be After Labiaplasty?

You should definitely consult your doctor about the postoperative care of labiaplasty. Generally, dressings with antibiotic creams or solutions are recommended for a period of 7-10 days. In addition, it is important to be careful about your toilet hygiene, and to clean the genital area from front to back. There is no harm in washing the wound with soap or water.

Taking Bath After Labiaplasty

You can take a standing shower 3 days after labiaplasty. Before 3 days, excessive water contact with the genital area should be avoided, but there is no harm in washing the rest of the body.

Is Ice Application Needed After Labiaplasty?

It is important to apply ice for 3 days after labiaplasty to prevent bleeding, relieve the pain, and resolve the edema. Applying ice for a longer period of time delays wound healing.

Do I Have A Loss Of Sensation After Labiaplasty?
